The Tempest, March 15-18
Ann Arbor Civic Theater's production of The Tempest will open Thursday March 15th, and close Sunday March 18th. It'll be at the Towsley Auditorium, and will be as expensive as any other Civic production. I recommend opening night or ushering.

I play the role of Trinculo, and I get to spend most of my stage time drunk! I keep forgetting to ask the director how he feels about method acting.

My Latest Brush With Death
Sunday night on my way through the door of a pub, I slipped on the doorstep and nearly fell. What, you may ask, did I slip on? For surely, no owner of such a rapid cuisine establishment would allow their front step to become dangerously encrusted with ice. No, in truth, what I slipped on was the quarter-inch thick dusting of salt. Yes, I almost broke my neck after slipping on a thick layer of irony. ... Wait, was that ironic? Ever since that Alanis Morissette song, I've never been sure. (Please pardon the phrasing, I've just returned from a Shakespeare rehearsal.)
