Floating Dog
I laughed out loud for almost twenty minutes the first time I saw this. Originally got it from Jamie who pointed out the Google video copy. MD later found it here. (And if you're clever, you can download it from there.) What gets me is that the dog is so completely undisturbed by all this. Just wagging his tail while the passenger looks like he's going to lose his last meal.

Siegler & Co.
I'd never heard of this company, but they have some very, very cool stuff. Some of their stuff is just overpriced. I can make you a better bullwhip than they've got for less than they're asking. And CASIberia will give you a better deal on a khukri. But stuff like this pair of vintage USAF flight computers (not the electrical kind) I've never seen anywhere else. If nothing else, it's a great site to browse.

If Lord of the Rings happened in World of Warcraft...
This is what it would look like. (Thanks Devvon)

More than just a freshmaker.
Got this from Wil. It's an incredible mess you can make with a roll of Mentos and a 2-liter of diet pop. I am so dropping by the grocery store on the way home.

The President Cares
Diganta sent me this.

Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed".

"Oh no!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the president sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

Improved Shining Trailer
If you know someone whe hasn't seen The Shining, show them this trailer. Yes, I know it's cruel to make someone think that The Shining is a feel-good movie, but man it'd be funny. (Got this from Kirk.)

Big Ad
Got this from Scot and Teresa. Now this is advertising. Makes me want to buy Carlton Draught. Is that available in the U.S.?

Free Pocket Organizer
That's right, it's free and it doesn't need batteries! The PDA has evolved past that!

Bananaphone: The Aftermath
If you're unfamiliar with the Bananaphone, this should give you a pretty good idea of its effects.

For the record...
Don Knotts was not a marine drill instructor.
John Denver was not a Vietnam sniper.
And Mr. Rogers was neither a child molester nor a Navy seal.
I hope no one's too disappointed.

High Speed Photos of Popping Balloons
This is way cool. Although I find it stresses me a bit. Probably some residual shell shock from Ren Faire.

Butterfly Knife Demos
Ok, here's an impressive set of butterfly knife demo videos. Pretty cool. I'm not anywhere near that level. For the record, I've never cut myself on a butterfly knife. When I first got mine, I was led to believe that it wasn't legal to carry it around in Michigan. That makes it worthless as a utility knife, so the first thing I did was take the edge off. It is now a butterfly trainer.
