Notice of Revocation of Independence
All request day today! Starting off with something Margaret sent me. It's John Cleese revoking our independence in the wake of the election.
They Fight Crime!
I think I already posted this when Ron sent it to me, but it's worth a re-post. Zach sent it to me this time. It seems to randomly pick words and phrases from a list in a mad-libs fashion, and capping it with "They Fight Crime!"
Cool Hardware
Marty sent me this one. He refers to it as a BIG F-ING SAW!!!! but I think it might be more of a trench digger. It's still really cool, though. I like how there's a more normal sized crane riding on its back.
Zombie Infection Simulation
Wil sent me this most important web site. It proves conlusively that even though zombies are slow moving, they are still a valid threat. You've been warned.
Who wants to be project lead for Diablo III?
Chris sent me a heads up about this. Hmmm. Time to brush up my resume. Um, and maybe pad it a bit.
Are you a robot?
Bill sent this out. (Before he left.) It's a rap that apparently pulls inspiration from Philip K. Dick and Bladerunner. The unedited mp3 (Scent of a Robot) is available on the dude's website.
Geek Love Poem T-shirt
Tony sent me this little note: "If you want me to be your valentine, I will require one of these." I didn't, so I guess he isn't.
Catching up with Jamie
First up, Mortor. Next, girl vs. burger. He also sent me the DVD class action lawsuit. Near as I can tell, some people are pissed that they bought movies labeled as wide screen, only to discover that the movie was filmed in 4:3. You can get some cash back if you bought one of these movies. I notice "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" is on the list.

Kilt Day!
Today, March 7th, is the first offical Dave Kilt day of 2005. And it is good. I guess winter is back tomorrow, but today I am kilted.

World of Warcraft!
In 1997, Ultima Online ushered in the graphical age of online role playing games. And for seven years, I paid them no mind. I never even played Star Wars Galaxies. But on Wednesday, I installed World of Warcraft. My world will never be the same again.
I'm currently spending my WoW time on the Llane server with a troll hunter named Machete. If you're a WoW player on that server, look me up!
