PlanetDave How To: Dangerous Laser Pointer
Make a high powered laser pointer out of a DVD burner! Man, I'd be afraid to have that thing in the house. Not sure I'd trust any of MY friends with it. And it's not just trusting them to not point it at anyone's face. It's trusting them to not point it out a window, or at ANYTHING reflective.
